There is nothing more romantic than a walk during sunset, and with the Mezquita right at your feet it’s even better. The mosque’s irregular layout inspires concepts of romantic and passionate love. Perfectly integrated into the Judería (Jewish Quarter) of Cordoba, this imposing landmark that “embraces” all Muslims, is one of the most emblematic places of Cordoba. Discover this cultural and romantic route through several of the must-see places in Cordoba, including the Roman bridge, the street of the flowers, the street of the handkerchief and Archaeological Museum square.
In the end sit back and appreciate the sunset with views of the Mezquita in a private terrace, where you’ll enjoy a bottle of Andalusian wine, Spanish ham and cheese.

Cultural and fun experience suitable for children
At the age of 18, Diego left his home town of Cordoba to gain international experience, which he did by living and working in more than a dozen cities across Spain and Europe. Cordoba is his home, though, and his wine and food tours explore the history and traditions of the city that he loves. You will almost certainly get a culinary experience like no other when your go on tour with Diego.
A great way to discover Córdoba
We (family of 4, 5yo twins) were in Cordoba for a day trip only and, following a recommendation from his colleague in Seville, we booked a tour with Diego so that we could get the most out of our day trip.
It turned out to be a great decision. Diego is affable and knowledgable, not to mention great with the kids. Despite the weather not being great on the day of our tour, we still got to experience all the key sites as well as a wonderful “picnic” lunch on a rooftop overlooking the Mosque/cathedral.
Diego and Ana are the perfect companions to see Cordoba
We had two local guides with us for an incredible evening of tapas, wine and history in Cordoba. Diego showed us Roman ruins not accessible to the general public and gave us a rooftop terrace wine and food experience overlooking the beautiful Mezquita. Best tour in town. Highly recommended.

Diego combines local history, wine and food knowledge far from a standard guided city or food tour.
It was exactly the type of ‘Foodie Tour’ we were looking for as we had only one evening time in Cordoba. We experienced some fantastic highlights like the viewing of Cordoba’s great mosque from a friend’s rooftop terrace, the visit into the patio house were we had local sherry and tapas. Visiting a local tapas bar we wouldn’t find and having a great dinner with wines at another hidden local restaurant. The tour ended far later than expected and we felt like leaving a friend.
Knowing that we travel to Madrid, Diego emailed us lots of links to great restaurants, tapas and cocktail bars. Caring and OUTSTANDING service! We definitely recommend booking a tour with Diego!
Thanks Diego! – The tour with you is a highlight on our 2 month journey through Spain.
The Highlight of My Trip
I was in Cordoba for three nights and wanted to try a tour. I was looking for something local and came across this tour with great reviews. This tour was better than any other tour I have done. It was very laid-back and Diego was fantastic. He has knowledge of wines and the history of Cordoba, which I was not expecting. We were able to see patios and stopped in a few places I would never had stopped, but the food was amazing! This tour was much more than I was hoping for. Diego made me feel like a long-time friend and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know Cordoba and know their excellent food. This was truly the highlight of my trip to Cordoba!
Had the best time in Córdoba with Diego and Ana! We visited the Judería and Mezquita with Ana, she showed us knowledge and passion for the city of Cordoba, great time!! Diego prepared wine&tapas at a rooftop by the Mezquita, fantastic view. He also showed us a 5 Star hotel that was constructed above Roman ruins, wonderful and unique!
