Meet Diego, Your Native Sherpa
At the age of 18, Diego left his home town of Cordoba to gain international experience, which he did by living and working in more than a dozen cities across Spain and Europe. Cordoba is his home, though, and his wine and food tours explore the history and traditions of the city that he loves. You will almost certainly get a culinary experience like no other when your go on tour with Diego.
Diego was kind enough to flex our planned afternoon walking tour, as we had just finished another walk on a very warm day. Instead we joined him for a late afternoon visit to Cordoba homes with wonderful shared communal courtyard wall gardens, about which Diego was most knowledgeable. He followed this tour with a grand surprise: the Andalusian Caballeros & Caballos Show, complete with a lady dancer-and-horseman flamenco performance. Great evening, Diego, thanks!
