Jorge left his hometown of Zaragoza to travel Europe, working and studying in different parts of England, after which he spent 5 years in Munich, Germany. He spent 2016 and 2017 studying at the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastian, where he earned a master’s Degree in Culinary Tourism. Nowadays, Jorge finds joy talking to travelers about the history and delicious food and wine options to be found in Zaragoza.
Me and my friends where in Zaragoza fpr the first time. And since we love food we thought it was an awesome idea to do some “Food touring” and taste some Amazing local food and at the same time see Zaragoza!
If you’re there take the chance, Jorge (the guide) is also siper friendly and funny
Great way to experience Zaragoza & Jorge also speaks German & he teaches cooking lessons too
Jorge kindly offered to run the tapas tour with just myself- although normally it’s minimum 2 persons. As I am a guide myself, he offered to make such an exception for me. Zaragoza is not so well known by tourists but as the ancient capital of Aragon, it is an amazing city with loads of beautiful architecture, going back to Roman era.
My only critical feedback for Jorge is to maybe tell more personal stories about the people who feature in Zaragoza’s recent and historic events, as I think this is one feature of a guided tour, which brings history alive.
Thanks for a great tour!
It was a funny tour !. We could enjoy the amazing city thanks to Jorge, and the most important thing, he showed us the tasty wines of Aragón
